Gir Jungle Trail Safari

Gir Jungle Trail Safari provides visitors with an opportunity to explore designated forest areas of Gir by authorized safari vehicle. The experience allows visitors to observe the natural landscape, forest environment and wildlife habitat along the designated safari route.

During the safari, visitors may observe signs of wildlife activity and learn about the forest ecosystem from the accompanying driver or guide. Wildlife sightings depend on natural animal movement and environmental conditions and are not guaranteed.

The safari is operated according to applicable Forest Department rules, designated routes, timings and availability. Visitors are required to follow forest regulations and safety instructions during the safari.

Note: Gir National Park remains closed from 16 June to 15 October every year due to the monsoon season. Only Devalia Safari operates throughout the year and remains closed every Wednesday.

Safari vehicles arrangements, safari timings, routes are decided by the forest department and may change without prior notice.
Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed it depends on natural movement.
Forest department reserve the right to cancel or stop safari in case of bad weather, safety concerns.
Forest department reserve the right to stop/cancel safari in case of violation of park rules.
Name and ID details must be matching the information submitted during booking.
Private vehicles are not allowed inside the park, entry inside the safari zone is allowed only through authorized vehicles.
It is highly advisable to reach the reporting point before 30 to 45 minutes before the scheduled safari timing.

Choose the safari type and gypsy category.
Enter accurate visitor details as per valid ID proof.
Make the online payment to confirm your booking.
Receive your safari permit or confirmation after successful payment.
Note: If any visitor has not received confirmation after booking, please wait at least 24 hours and call us on the given numbers.
